Chandler Panelbeaters has been at 11 Williamson Avenue in Grey Lynn since 2007. Peter — Pete — runs the workshop. Customers deal with him directly: he assesses the job, quotes it, and oversees the work through to handback.
The reviews tell the story better than we can. People come in with a dent and leave with their headlights polished. They bring in a bumper scrape and their marque badge gets straightened while they're at it. Pete and the team have a habit of doing more than what's asked — and not charging for it.

We're not the biggest panel shop in Auckland. We don't try to be. We handle a manageable number of jobs so each one gets the attention it needs. If we're booked up, we'll tell you straight — and we'll give you a realistic timeframe for when we can get to it.
We quote what the job costs. We don't pad it, we don't upsell you work you don't need, and we'll tell you if something isn't worth fixing. Several customers mention our pricing in reviews — because it's genuinely fair.
Multiple customers have noticed the same thing: we fix things we weren't asked to fix. A wonky badge. A sticky window button. Headlights that could use a polish. If it takes five minutes and makes your car better, we just do it.
If your car needs work, we'll tell you exactly what and why. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too. No one benefits from doing work that's not needed — you'd find out eventually and we'd lose a customer.
Most jobs are done within a few days. Rust and dent work typically takes about four days. Small dent repairs — a carpark ding, a door scrape — can often be turned around faster. We'll give you a timeframe when you drop the car off and stick to it.
